I don't dislike any of her on-screen acts. Besides ending up with Ling. I doubt that Ling respects Ting-Ting. He only fell for her because of her beauty and later learned out that she likes his jokes( but initially he was only attracted to her looks and maybe was envious of Yao's success with Mei). He never recognised Ting-Ting's courage, sense of duty and selflness. Ting-Ting deserves more than this egocentric, selfish, shallow, dishonest and jerkish Ling. I'd prefer to see paired up with a man who recognises her virtues and respects her choices.

Conservativity has its dark side too. Ting-Ting demonstrated only its bright side on-screen( I respect her for her sense of duty). But I am afraid that she would be predjuiced against Mulan in the first movie. Ting-Ting is a lot like Shang.

However, in my opinion Ting-Ting's defining trait is her selflessness and not any of her flaws.
