I love both but definitely! This was my childhood, it has one of the best soundtracks ever, and is just amazing! I love how the casting is color blind and is based more on the actors acting and singing abilities. All of the actors in the film do a great job!

^the diverse cast is one of the reasons I love it so much too! :) When I was a kid I didn't even question anything about the cast until my older sisters would ask "How do a black mom and a white dad have an asian kid?" I still think about that and laugh :P

It just really soothes me if I'm feeling down or anxious, but I like the diversity of the other version (Though I really need to rewatch it, tbf).

Never watch the other.

I cant understand how people prefer films just for the "diversity". Call me crazy, but I prefer to have great scenes, great decorates and dresses, great music, effects... and that reminds me of the original fairytale.

I don't know the other, but still this would be my favorite <3 Simply adore this movie!
