I guess that all depends in which context you mean 'generic'. There seems to be two distinct types of Disney Princess; on one hand you have the helpless, feminine, lady-like characters(Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora) and then you have the independant, rebellious, flawed princess (Ariel, Jasmine, Tiana, Mulan). I think the two that seem to lie somewhere in the middle are Belle and Pocahontas.

But then if we're talking generic in relation to how they look...i guess I would have to be racist and choose Mulan as looking like an average Asian girl while of course her story is anything but generic.

I was thinking of specifying either being generic visually or being generic personality wise. But I was curious as to which princess everyone considered to be generic generally.

Personality-wise, I'd say Cinderella. She's got that distressed damsel gets her fairy tale kind of story, plus her personality is kind and sweet and perfect.

Or Aurora.

Looks wise, I'd actually say Belle, minus the ponytail. I find her to be very very generic looking.

Or Mulan, who looks like every other asian.

ariel, cinderella and snow white

I was going to choose Belle just because I remember princesslullaby said she was generic looking. I chose Cinderella. I was going to choose Mulan too.

For me, not Belle, Cinderella, or Tiana because they were not originally princesses. Pocahontas and Mulan have questionable statuses as princesses, so not them. This leaves Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine. Jasmine and Ariel are unique in their rebellious streaks, so now we have Snow White and Aurora. My deciding factor here is that often Snow White acts like a young girl while Aurora acts like a lady, so I think Aurora is the most generic.

Awww. Poor Cinderella.

I'd say Aurora, because we learn the least about her. She's beautiful, kind, and put under a spell :)
