Isn't It Obvious?

VASTLY overrated. He only cares about Jasmine for her looks and money, tells the Genie after he PROMISED him that he couldn't set him free because of the mess he got himself into (even though he did free the Genie at the end) annnddd this makes me mad: "If Jasmine knew I was a crummy streetrat, she'd laugh at me."

^I agree with fhghu. Plus Naveen. I really like Naveen, but he doesn't do anything worth merit, IMO

I don't think girls on fanpop really like his personality they just like how cute they think his butt is when in reality he's just as Tiana said "A no account lazy lump on a log" you guys complain that Ariel and Jasmine are spoiled and selfish well watch how Naveen and Beast act than you won't be thinking Ariel and Jasmine are spoiled and selfish

@Kataralover BUUUUUUT Naveen progresses to more of a better person towards the end of the film. Besides, half the people out there are really lazy, doesn't mean they don't have good qualities in them. It's obvious how much he truly loves and cares for Tiana, he's fun, optimistic, sweet, happy, and outgoing. I think being optimistic and looking on the bright side is more important tbh, and like I said, he seems to progress to being less lazy towards the end.

Sorry, it's just when you said you think girls only liked him because he's cute kind of offended me.

Naveen does have many fangirls (myself included) but I think he's actually worthy of them (I'm also highly biased). Aladdin... I agree with what others have said. I liked him at the beginning of the film but then he started getting selfish. But Naveen was selfish in a fun, outgoing way :D

I'd have to go with this useless douche bag. He does absolutely NOTHING. He acts like an immature little boy at the Ball with his fake yawns. He only goes after Cinderella for her looks, and then when she leaves, he doesn't even try to run after her. So, a group of girls bombard him...whoopty-freaking-doo...push those broads out of the way and go after her stupid! Then (and this is my FAVORITE part)...he doesn't even look for her. He sends the Duke out to do all the work. I also don't like the way he looks. He's very poorly drawn...I actually think Snow White's Prince is more handsome...and more manly; he actually SEARCHED for his dream girl. Charming schmarming. Ironic how Cinderella is my all time favorite Princess and I can't stand him...

Pfft, definitely. I almost lol when I hear people saying things like "HE'S SO RIFE WITH EMOTION" and stuff like that. I mean srsly, did you fall asleep after the first like 20 minutes? He becomes so AWFUL. He's nice at the beginning when he's all "BITCH, THIS IS MY FUCKING CASTLE. COME DOWN TO DINNER OR I'LL RIP YOUR FACE OFF." but he just gets so horribly refined and poncy. Ugh. Other characters that improve their "bad" traits (tbf, I love the Beast's temper, makes him a bamf for 5 minutes) manage to stay as a good character in the end. But no, not the Beast.

^On second thought, Beast is not overrated. See how quickly I change my mind? For example, I used to be a CRAZY fan of Aladdin before I paid closer attention to the other princes. And now that I've joined Fanpop, I found that everybody loves him...and now he annoys me. I love Flynn, but I find him overrated, too.

He didn't really do a major role in the film yet a lot of people are going gaga over him.
