I think "Ma Belle Evangeline" was the weakest song in PatF and they deserved a much better one.

Even though I think Mulan and Shang have better voices. But since we're talking about romance, I pick Eric and Ariel. And ew, I am not impressed with Naveen's singing but maybe Tiana's voice (who I think has the best DP voice) could save the song.

It would have been cool if Ariel/Eric and Mulan/Shang had one

I say Tiana and Naveen. I know that song at the end of movie during credits "Never Knew I Needed" was song for Tiana and Naveen though it was sang by Neyo.I like that song a little better then "My Belle Eveangline" and it fits more with Tiana and Naveen then the "Evangline" song."Never Knew I Needed" just really expesses what Tiana and Naveen must of thought and felt for each other.I think that song would be perfect for them and of course I love to hear them sing that toghter. But of course I love to hear them sing any love song together.

I enjoyed "Kiss the Girl" but I would have like another song about them having feelings for each other. Ariel wanted to tell Eric she was the one who saved him but couldn't because she lost her voice. Eric was conflicted between the mystery girl and Ariel. Then toward the end of the song, he picks Ariel. Which leads to the Vanessa subplot.

Tiana/Naveen also! The song, My Belle Evangeline" was more for Ray/Evangeline; not for Tiana/Naveen. It didn't really advance the plot very much. I would have like a song where Tiana and Naveen express thier feelings about each other. Naveen loves Tiana and wanted to marry her but has no money to help her get her restaurant in a limited time. Tiana had always thought she wanted her restaurant but wonders why her dream feels incomplete. She realizes her feelings for Naveen but is afraid to act on them because he was planning on marrying charlotte and she didn't want to ruin her friendship with Charlotte. She also didn't know if Naveen felt the same for her. Then, everything works out.

Probably. I suppose Ariel/Eric could have one similar to "Something There" where they're not actually singing (seeing as Ariel can't talk)

They do in the broadway musical, although it's a quartet with King Triton and Sebastian as well.

For me disney's masterpiece Mulan 1 is not emphasizes in love. I mean we have romance but the point is loyality. So, it would be weird if i'd see Mulan and Shang singing a duet because they didn't have even a kiss. As far as Tiana and Naveen are concerned, i love them but i think there are too many songs in the movie so i'd get tired.I think Eric and Arien deserved a duet.
