You can feel a real connection between them, even though there isn't any dialogue, and together with the animation and score it creates an element of mystery in the air. Loving someone because of his/her looks at first and then getting to know him and love his/her personality itself. It wouldn't be love at first sight, otherwise. Anyway, I love both so much, this was a bit hard to me, I even was about to chose Pocahontas/John to go but after reading your comments I changed my mind. Snow White and Prince's was a really cute scene, the song was so romantic and the background and feelings so innocent, if you know what I mean. But I believe Pocahontas and John's scene is better, kinda of stunning, epic, romantic, great music and colors, I love how they were both standing at opposite sides (two worlds/one true love). It is so powerful and I agree with milky -way, you can feel the connection between them, the dialogue isn't needed. posted più di un anno fa.

Their personalities and beliefs don't go together at all. But you don't know that when they first meet. At that time, all you know is that Pocahontas has been observing him, and she finds him intriguing (so far). Even though Pocahontas doesn't show any interested expression of emotion in the actual meeting scene, she had been showing interested emotions in the scenes leading up to it. But Pocahontas and John have the best first meeting ever! It's so dramatic! And meeting in such a beautiful place, and Pocahontas looking pretty with her hair flying, I couldn't wish it better. 	maryksand picked Pocahontas and John Smith -The River: I dislike both because I dislike those couples and find them badly written with no basis for relationship at all, since Snow/Prince hardly even knew each other and Smith/Pocahontas were as incompatible as it could possibly be because of completely different outlook on life. But since we are talking about first meetings, I find Snow/Prince one cute whereas I find Pocahontas/Smith one disturbing. Smith was INTENDING to kill savages, it was even implied that he did it previously just because they were people of differnet culture and he didn't accept or understand it and he would have shot Pocahontas had she not turned out to be hot.
