Round 1 Elimination: Elsa
Round 2 Elimination: Jasmine
Round 3 Elimination: Snow White
Round 4 Elimination: Ariel
Round 5 Elimination: Aurora

I vote for Tiana because while there are many things I like about her including her humility, hard-work and sense of accountability, I can also find her to be very off-putting at times as well. I just happen to like all of the other DPs more as they come off more charming and/or have more attractive personalities that would be more pleasing to be around.

Just something about the way she's written makes her an absolute bore.

For the same reasons as before. Tiana has anger issues and is constantly criticizing others. She's the opposite of kind.

I wish I didn't have to vote for Tiana! While I admire her for her determination, work ethic, sense of responsibility, and the fact that there are some lines she won't cross in pursuit of her dreams, there are some things about her personality that really bother me. She comes across as self-righteous and condescending at times, especially toward those who she believes don't work as hard as she does, and she has a negative attitude toward magical thinking (calling Evangeline a "stupid star", saying "I can't believe I'm doing this" when she wishes on a star, and what she said to Lottie about dreams not coming true just because she wishes for them... I forget the exact line but that was basically what she said).

Same reason as before. I can't stand of her forced humor and stupidity.

Actually what's the point if I keep picking Mulan while she won't be eliminated till the end? LOL XD...

I don't hate her but despite all of her flaws, she is too lucky and always right. Her impromptu plans always work perfectly. I also don't like the fact that she falls in love with Shang while Shang doesn't seem to return her affection that much. I can see her strengths very clearly but I'm not too fond of her personality. Shortly, she's just an unrelatable character to me.

what laylasteford said. I like her in parts for her hard working and determination towards her goals but otherwise on more personal and social front, she isn't as positive.

3xZ: The point is honest and accurate voting. :) I was doing this poll to get an accurate estimate of the collective's opinions on all DPs which relies on genuine votes and comments like yours so I appreciate the honesty. If you really feel like you are stuck on 1 DP too long then I would encourage you to leave comments about other DPs that you do like more who are getting eliminated, this way I can use your positive comments in the final article to create a more balanced view on that DP. :)

That being said, I've been stuck on Tiana the last 4 rounds so I'd like to say:

I choose Tiana over Merida because I think Merida makes more of an attempt to be socially graceful, even though it seems harder for than the other DPs. In a lot of ways, Tiana is the harder-working version of Elsa for me. They both choose to isolate themselves for their career goals and while I can respect that, I don't see it as being very balanced. I think Merida tries to attain a balance between satisfying her individual wants and needs but also meeting her expectations and duties as a princess. She seems to make an attempt to connect with her mother despite the fact that her mother disapproves of most of her activities and such. While I really don't appreciate the seemingly reckless and utterly self-centered nature of Merida at the beginning of her film, I also have the upmost respect and appreciation for someone who can admit when they are wrong and who is actually willing to fix those problems that they recognize within themselves. People who are truly reckless and self-centered are not able to admit when they are wrong or put others' needs first but Merida does do that. When she sees the full consequences of her actions, she doesn't keep denying her part but embraces her part and apologizes whole heartedly. She also is shown throughout the film, including the beginning, trying to spoil her younger brothers. I personally don't believe in spoiling children but I do see the love and care behind the act of spoiling and it's not coming from a self-centered part on Merida's end. Merida has no problems with self-confidence as she was raised by her parents to fully believe in herself and not doubt herself so it only seems logical that this would carry on to her issue with the arranged marriage that she knew nothing about until the events leading up to it had started. I love Merida's spirit of adventure as it shows that she is open to new experiences and not as hemmed in as she might come off. She also seems to have a legitimate sense of humor, even if we don't see it that much. While Merida might not be one of the most charming DPs, she's also not the least charming, and she makes serious attempts to maintain her individuality while also growing up and maturing to become a more well-rounded person.
