When I started this articolo series, I had to make a decision. Officially, nearly all Disney Film are based on some sort of fonte text. In reality, it is often something really obscure and practically forgotten. So I made a decision early on: That I would only discuss the books, which are known enough to have an own Wikipedia article. This distinction served me fairly well, with one exception and this is The volpe and the Hound. When this book was published, it was highly praised, and therefore it does have an article. But nowadays it is so hard to come da that te have to pay a three digits...

Let's not kid ourselves, with all its dark moments, Disney has also provided us with a lot of adorable moments that just have us going "Awwwwww" no matter how old we are. I am here to honor those moments with a superiore, in alto 10 list. Surprisingly, I might just very well be the first one to make this list... really, why have I not found another like this? Keep in mind that this is my opinion and I'm basing this off of memory. If there's a cuter moment that really should be on this list, I probably forgot it. Also, I'm only picking one per film, otherwise this whole thing could very well be overloaded...

Yeah, after talking about the Jungle Book, this is the successivo logical step. It’s fairly obvious were the inspiration for the Tarzan book series came from. And to be honest: Between those two stories about a child which grew up in the jungle, Mowgli is definitely the better pick. If te ask me, the idea behind Tarzan is better than the stories themselves. An old idea in a crowd pleasing format, which is mostly notable due to its revolutionary marketing strategy. Tarzan is not just a book, it is a trademark (copyright is limited, trademark rights aren’t), and Burroughs did his very best to...

 My preferito Disney villain!
My favorite disney villain!
These are my all time superiore, in alto 10 preferito Disney heroines. This lista was so hard to make because I Amore all the Disney characters. Anyway, I hope te enjoy!

10. Belle

Belle is extremely kind! She takes the place of her father and learns to Amore the beast. Also, she is very relateable

9. Pocahontas

Pocahontas is very connected with nature, and has a hard time making up her mind, like me!

8. Mulan

Mulan wants to be proud with who she really is, and I'm the same. We're both socially awkward, and just want to make our parents proud.

7. Esmeralda

Esmeralda is very driven, and always tries to stand up...

This is the start of a new series of articles, in which I’ll take a look at book-based Disney movies. I will discuss how the movie relates to the original fonte text (or not), what the merits and the weaknesses of the movie are.
I will not do this in chronological order, but simply pick what strikes me fancy (I’m open for requests, though). Don’t expect me to do the Lion King, though. For one, the connection to Hamlet is feeble at best, it’s più a case of being inspired da it than a true adaptation, and two, technically Hamlet is a play, not a book. I also will not do the Disney Princess...

Hercules: te like making deals. Take me in Meg's place.
Hades: Hmm. The son of my hated rival trapped forever in a river of death.
Hercules: Going once...
Hades: Is there a downside to this?
Hercules: Going twice...
Hades: Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. te get her out. She goes, te stay.
[Hercules dives in to save Megara]
Hades: Oh, there's just one thing. You'll be dead before te can get to her. That's not a problem, is it?

Hades: How sentimental. te know, I haven't been this choked up since I got a pezzo, hunk of moussaka caught in my throat.

Panic: "Hercules." Why does that name ring a bell?...

Frollo: [as Quasimodo towers over him] Now, now... L-Listen to me, Quasimodo...
Quasimodo: [heaving in gasping breaths] No, *you* listen! All my life, te have told me that the world is a dark, cruel place. But now I see that the only thing dark and cruel about it is people like you...

Frollo: Look at that disgusting display.
Phoebus: [raising his visor] Yes, sir!

Quasimodo: te are good to me master. I'm sorry.
Frollo: You're forgiven. But remember Quasimodo, this is your sanctuary.
[Frollo leaves]
Quasimodo: My sanctuary.

Brutish Guard: Minister Frollo, the gypsy has escaped.
Frollo: What?...
