bring back classic doctor who,since 2005 doctor who has come back on to tv with great success.should not the classic's of doctor who the forerunners to the up to data have a fair shake.?while the new series is being made [bbc,bbc three]could take time out to put on the classic doctor who.i think it will still draw in the audience.COME ON BBC!give the classic doctor a turn.we need them back as well,they have dato us the audience the adventures.the bbc have a good thing here,please don't waste it on being fickle.bring back classic doctor who have not seen them.

Whovian69 I totally agree. Other than the money spinning DVD releases, the original Doctor Who has been forgotten, even going so far as referring to the 2005 series as 'series 1', which is an insult, not just to those fans who have successfully negotiated puberty and fondly remember its pre-big budget adventures, but also to all those who have contributed to the series over the years and done more tham anyone else to put it where it is today, at the top. When i think of the rubbish that the BBC is filling their air time with, surely they can dip into its vast archive for gems like these.

The new companion, starring opposite Matt Smith when Doctor Who returns for a full series in Spring, 2010, has been revealed!

She has appeared previously in Doctor Who, playing the Soothsayer in the Tenth Doctor adventure, The Fires of Pompeii. In that episode the Doctor admits, 'I sometimes need someone' and from 2010 that someone will be Karen Gillan!

After winning the coveted role, Karen, 21, announced, 'I am absolutely over the moon at being chosen to play the Doctor's new companion. The mostra is such a massive phenomenon that I can't quite believe I am going to be a part of it.'
