I want to buy a dog but my mum doens't let me do it.What should I do??

Ask your mom if there are any chores o responsibilities around the house that te could take on to prove to her that you're responsible enough to look after a dog. It sounds like she's concerned that you're not responsible enough, so you'll have to work hard to mostra her that te are. Cani are a lot of work, so keep that in mind.

As for the indoor issue, smaller Cani are perfectly happy being kept as indoor pets. My family has a very small "toy" size dog that stays indoors all the time, even though we have a yard. She's litter box trained and everything... and happy as could be. She's actually super spoiled XD

So do some research on smaller Cani and indoor Cani and do some hard, hard work to mostra your mom that you're responsible... and maybe your mom will change her mind.

However, always keep in mind that it's your mom's house and she's the adult. te need to respect her wishes and if she still says no... Then the answer is no. Then te should try the other suggestion of volunteering at a shelter that works with dogs.

If your mum doesn't want te to have a dog she must have her reasons.Why don't te contact some local dog kennels o Rehoming centres and offer to do some volantary work with the Cani like walking them.Then it will give te experience with Cani and te will also be helping them and your mum will see how serious te are about keeping and looking after a dog. If te don't have a yard o anything I recommend getting a small dog and taking it for walks around the neighborhood twice a day. I ran into the same problem, but I eventually got a dog of my own. I paid for him, trained him, and feed him every night. Mo is completely MY responsibility.
S dog is a big commitment and is something te really have to think about. There is training, feeding, potty training, and other things to consider before getting a dog. If te are not allowed to get a dog te need to prove that te are responsible enough for one.

if your mum wont let te have a dog then have a chat with her and think about both of your reasons. remind your mum that te will feed and care for the dogs. if your mum still wont let te then te could maybee start off with a smaller pet like a criceto o fish. cya xx

te can also suggest to your mom that te could "try out" a dog for a few days o weeks, for example when a friend with a dog goes on vacation and can't/doesn't want to take their dog.
I did it and it worked. We got a dog and had him for nine years (yes, I did it when I was 9 and it still worked :)) until Friday. He had cancer and we had to have him put down :'(
That is also something te need to think about: are te prepared to let your dog go when he dies? Some people cannot handle that very well.

te mentioned that te dont have a yard~ my suggestion is to research dog breeds that would suit living in apartments etc. print out this research and mostra it to your mum. te dont want to get a Labrador (these Cani are big!) to live in an apartment. some examples of smaller dog breeds are westies & mini foxies.
mostra your mum that te can be responsible. volunteer (if your old enough) at your local kennel. te will probably learn how to clean up after a dog, grooming, feeding, and training of a dog, health care of a dog, plus various other skills needed in order to raise a dog. Cani are very hard work when they are puppies. keep a folder of everything te have done at the kennel so te can mostra your mum how responsible your being.
research dog laws. part of owning a dog is knowing where te can take them, if they need a muzzle, trainer handling, poo bags etc. include this in your folder.
see if te can start walking neighborhood dogs. walk them on a regular basis. draw up a walking schedule for your dog if te do get it. mostra your mum that te can include walking the dog in between homework and school and catching up with friends. the same goes for meal times for your dog.
dont forget to find out all te can about dog health! treatment for worming, fleas, ticks etc are all part of raising a dog.
even after all of this, and your mum still does not want te to get a dog, i still recommend volunteering. find a doggy giorno care center, a vet surgeon, your local kennel, o keep walking the neighbours dogs. this way te can still be around them.

Beg her o do something te never done that will impress her. Then mostra her responsiblite and then she will give te a dog.

okay.you keep dragging your mom to all these different shelters and when your mom finally falls for a certain dog, te ask for it.if all else fails,start a pet-sitting buisness to prove that te are a responsible pet owner.
