In this article, I am going to debunk various arguments made da Dollhouse staff during the series to defend their work and claim that its nature is philanthropic.
The first defence is that Dollhouse engagements give their clients "what they need". However, in the majority of cases, a più accurate descrizione would be "what they want" o "what they desire" rather than "what they need".
