Has anyone ever read a DXG story before?

First of all, I would like to say that this was the domanda that I wanted to put up but, I always thought that it really wasn't 'DxC related' so, I'm very happy that dxcfan put this up! Go 'head girl!!

Yes & No because these days te truly can't tell the difference between a DxC/DxG story anymore. Sometimes people like be real jackasses and post a story that has Duncan and Courtney in it but, they either had a horrible break-up o even worse someone goes completely insane and tries to harm one another, then it ends DxG. Oddly, I’ve seen a lot of that stuff lately. It really does piss me off…

DxCfan, te and I are rocking that same barca of curiosity. I always wondered what a DxG story was like so, I gave it chance but, I could NEVER finish them because I could stand to visualize DxG kissing. *shutters* It’s a good thing that I’m a very visual kind of person who can just change it for me to feel better. It just saddens me that some DxG fan would make-up stories that changes each character into something that they’re really NOT. I’ve also seen as retaliation for other DxC fan to make-up stories and doing the same thing in reverse!

DxC Ex: Some stories would have Gwen recitazione like some sort of cagna when it’s clearly stated that it’s out of her character to do such things just to get Duncan. Courtney would act overly nice and everything would be ‘perfect’ between her and Duncan. No problems, No Nothing.

DxG Ex: Some stories would have DxC breaking-up very harshly. They would have Courtney overly being bitchy and not controlling her temper. They would have her do everything in her power to get Duncan. Maybe even literally killing either one of them for some dumb reason only because she ‘crazy’. Then would have Trent (OF ALL PEOPLE) act overly crazy o start recitazione like some jackass just for an excuse to have Gwen break-up with him. Then have Duncan and Gwen together and act like no events that were important before ever even happened.

Yeah, I've read a few, not many, only a couple of them, just to see how DxG fan were Scrivere and how bad they were against Courtney, and I'm disappointed in them. I mean, maybe Courtney were all so sweet towards Duncan, but i consider that stuff as cute. I've read many were Courtney were the mean cagna and dumped Duncan for Justin, Alejandro and sometimes even Chris o Harold! And yeah, i know she had a little something with Alejandro in TDWT, but I don't think it would be enough to dumb Duncan for, even thought he can be an ass. So yes, DxG fan often makes Courtney a mean cagna in their stories, but it doesn't really surprise me much.

But when turning it around, I've also read some pretty rude DxC stories where GWEN were the mean cagna who always was trying to steal Duncan, make Duncan like her, o something third to diviso, spalato up DxC, and I'm truly ashamed when I'm Leggere those stories, because I know the DxC fan who wrote it were very mean against Gwen, and I mean, why be so mean against a cartoon character? It's a TV show, it's nothing real! I've probably written stories too where I made Gwen the bitch, and I'm very ashamed of myself for doing so, because I don't WANT Gwen to be the mean cagna and I don't either want Courtney to be it.

So I would say, that both DxG fan and DxC fan can be mean against the character who's threatening the pairing that they support. And actually, I know a great example of it!

The pairings Zutara and Kataang from Avatar. Have te seen the fight between the fans? It has been continuing even thought the mostra ended about 4 years ago!

I'll admit that I have curiously accidentally read a few DxG stories on fanfiction.net. I mean, they seriously make Courtney be the evil bitch. Most of the ones that I read has to do with Courtney getting tortured and suffering pain for eternity. I mean, some of the ones I've read even made Trent an abusing jackass. WTF?!

There was one DxG story that actually made sense, even though it did end with TxG. I forgot who was it by, but I do believe that this person really was a DxG fan da all means.

Anyway, a lot of stories, at least to me, were created just so they can mostra their hate on Courtney (no offense to people who actually done it with reason and for fun). I mean, I have written a few stories here, but I would never sink my hatred for DxG at a low level. Besides, it's not worth it.

Okay, I'm totally sounding like I'm stereotyping the DxG fan right now. But I know not all DxG fan hate Courtney o would go so low to make Courtney suffer in their stories. Sorry that I offending you. te guys are not all bad. :)

i read a lot. there was a really cute one but courtney acted like heather and she was bffs with heather. but it fit courtneys personality at the end because duncan and courtney were getting married but she wouldnt let him have his mohawk and piercings in (which i can see happening no offence). in the end gwen came to the wedding crying because duncan broke their promise that they would still data when she comes back from college but then he realized he really loved gwen and went back to her (at dxc's wedding WHICH WAS REALLY MEAN) and then in the future they got married.

No. I can't even handle seeing the two kissing. I'm not trying to be mean o anything. But there is NO WAY I am Leggere a story when I hate the couple.

I am being completely honest with te right now and no, I have never read one before and I'm not going to. I am a DuncanxCourtney fan. I know some of te have before but I haven't. I cant even handle 'those two' baciare o even being friends. There was a time I did like Gwen, but know it's all down collina for her!! Nobody believes me when i say that i didnt talk to nobody for weeks after i saw that tdwt comercial, but i did ok. So no i havent read a dxg story beofre and I never will!!

I tried Leggere one but they made Courtney all needy and loud so I just never really read a DxG story.

I hate them the make me upset and even makes me più mad at Gwen.They make Courtney look like someone she isn't.Not Courtney's fault Duncan cheated on her.The ALWAYS end horribly Killing o making Courtney sad in the series.And most of them are so cheap looking and Cheesy on Youtube.BTW-Sorry my old one was random.O_o I'm random so....Yea.DxC forever! :3

I read one where it started with DxG but ended with DxC so I don't know if that counts...but theres one I'm Leggere now where Duncan is dating both Gwen and Courtney and he has to choose who he likes more, it's really good!

Guys guys guys, guess what? My DxG fanfic (SPOILER ALERT, NO DXG fan READ THIS) is gonna have DXG break up, DxC get back together, and I'm not really sure what will happen after tht, maybe Duncan does something to Court, and Courtney and Gwen become friends- something along those lines- but I'm trying to make Courtney sound, ya know, like Courtney! From the actual show! I'm not gonna make up that she's some sort of evil bitch, that she's plotting revenge- yeah I'm just gonna use the perspective of like, actually Courtney! I'll be thinking, "Is that something Courtney would ACTUALLY say?" and I want her to seem nice, and get some attention, and not be left alone to rot. She will be liked, I guarantee it, after I finish my fanfiction. I swear it.

Most DxG stories I've read are all exactly the same, like , literally nearly the exact same formula: Courtney is an evil, harpy cagna who apparently whips Duncan like a dog, forces him to change himself, slaps him for so much as even LOOKING in anyone else's direction except hers, and gives him millions of kiwi kicks "just for the lulz." Duncan starts cutting himself, attempting suicide, becomes depressed and/or becomes a whimpering dog too weak to fight and so it is up to a certain "perky, beautiful goth" to save Duncan from himself. -_-' They do the same thing with Trent.

And rest assured, there will be plenty of Courtney bashing, Trent bashing, and both Duncan and Gwen shouting "HOWE KAN U TWEAT DIS BEEUTIFUL CREATURE THIS WAY? S/HE IZ DA MOST BOOTIFUL, KINDESS, IKNOWCENT PERSUN WHO EVA LIVED! U KANNOT BWEAK OUR LAVVVVE!!1!!1" -_-'

Just read one!!!!!! well a couple..they make courtney seem like a total bitch!!!! o a murder!!!!!!!Wow they have problems..in the ones we write we dont do that!

Sorry, still amin the DxC club (for no apparent reason ;) and this caught my eye. No trash meant.
Anywho, there are a few non-weird non-Courtney-trashing ones. Like 41 Reasons, Wrenching Hearts, and one I recently found, Total Drama Spaceballs (XD).
Ok, so 41 Reasons does trash Courtney, but she isn't physically present and Gwen is Scrivere this lista of why Duncan drives her crazy and Duncan writes this lista of why he loves Gwen. Can't blame them. It was quite in character.
And Wrenching Hearts just made me cry.

i have read one duncan and gwen story made da my sister. ok, i hate gwen and duncan together, but the one she made was really good.
in the story gwen and countney were Friends and when duncan came in they fort over him, but in the end gwen let duncan be with countney.(you have to read it to get it)
its a really good story, te should read it.

Yeah, I've read them. They actually aren't that bad.
And te have to look at the style of DxG. The reason those stories are written like that is because DxG need to get together in them so they make their exes seem awful and Duncan and Gwen need to escape them.
Also, most stories are written from the perspective of TDA....meaning Courtney was terrible in that season along with the crazy Trent.....that right there sums up a lot.
And most DxG fan don't like Courtney because they felt she WAS mean, treating Duncan terribly, abusing him, violating him, taking advantage of him, and trying to change him. And they feel that Trent WAS obsessive, possessive, clingy, annoying, crazy, etc. These adjectives make up a pretty entertaining story.....and they also end in breaking Trent and Courtney's hearts because most DxG fan don't like the way they treated their exes. Simple as that.
