How, when and why did te start shipping Ed and Winry as a couple?

I shipped them ever since the first Anime series, when I first saw her throw a wrench at him. I knew from that moment on that they were meant to be. xD But it wasn't until I read the manga that I started seeing the deeper side to their relationship and totally fell in Amore with it. (And then I got super mad at the first Anime for cutting out all their moments, lulz...thank God for Brotherhood!)

What about te guys? ^__^

They do look utterly adorable together. <33 I read a wonderful EdWin drabble once, comparing Ed and WInry to the golden sun and the blue sky, and I've never been able to get that analogy out of my head since because it fits them so well. (And not just their eye colors, either.) xD And I think Leggere the manga and watching Brotherhood would make it significantly più difficult to not Amore the pairing, lol. It's so natural and authentic and so glaringly obvious. (And so much fun to shove in the faces of stubborn RoyEd fans, lulz...yes I know, I'm evil...) =P

I liked them from the first Anime series, in the episode where Barry the Butcher kidnaps Ed and Winry..for some reason it made me <3 the couple, idk why. And, when Ed wrote a letter to her at Shou Tucker's, and Al was teasing him about it. :DD when i read the manga i realized just how much deeper there relationship really is...when brotherhood came out i was so cyked ^__^ Childhood friendships always make the best romances ;D

oh, and fanfiction also got me into them. lulz(:

(Childhood friendship romances FTW!) OH MY GOSH that Barry episode made me cry so hard...and I can totally see how that episode could spark some Amore for this pairing. That scene in particular, where Ed breaks down on the steps successivo to his brother and Winry just looks at him with tears streaming down her face...I think te can read so much depth into that little moment, right there. It's like she wants so badly to fix his cuore and chase his demons away, but doesn't know how to. (And GREAT, now I'm making myself all teary-eyed again...) And YESSS! AL TOTALLY SHIPS EDWIN lol xD Fanfiction did a lot to turn me into an EdWin fangirl too, actually. Have te read Tobu Ishi's "EdWin 100 themes"? They're amazing, and they capture all the different sides of the pairing so well. <3 And yes, I know I talk too much. *shutting up...*

ahaha.. :) don't worry, fma gets the emotional side out of me too. I believe I had read that, and pretty much ALL edwin fanfics out there, lmao(: I also like the part at the successivo ep after barry, when ed and al take Winry shopping, and she sees he is depressed, and gives him a tool o oil thing for his automail ^^ and later, he thinks about her when he pulls it out of his pocket :D ahh i hate to admit it, but i really AM turning into a edwin fangirl xD

I know i'm very late but i Amore this couple! The barry the chopper episode is definitely one where i started shipping. The wrench throwing was funny as well and cute and i was like "awwweee couple forming over here people!" i also just Amore romances that come from friendships it makes it più genuine. Edwin= FTW that's what me and my Friends say. Yes in brotherhood/ manga they develop their relationship better. Dearheart- can te tell me what that drabble with the sun and moon thing was? i'd Amore to read it.
