It's because it makes it even più different to the classical vampire image; it literally means Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. don't have a physical weakness. After all, if they're seen sparkling, they can just kill the humans who saw and sposta to a different place o country. Although it's good to be original, a lot of people (including myself) feel that twilight Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. aren't vampires. They don't burn in the sun, they don't not like holy water o Bibles, they don't seem to be allergic to silver (at least it isn't mentioned in the series, I think; I admit I didn't exactly reread Twilight), and they can't be killed with a stake through the heart. Their only weakness is sparkling, which isn't vampire-like, making them hardly Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. at all, and isn't really a weakness at all. As well as making Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. annoying Gary-Stuish, it's seen as very shallow: as in, oh, of course even vamps supposed weakness makes them handsome and beautiful. Please don't attack me for saying this, te asked why people hate sparkling, and I answered. It's not a weakness, shallow, and kind of lame. Oh, and it's seen as gay for boys to sparkle. I don't like that argument, but lots of people think that.
