2010 Glastonbury Musica Festival in Somerset, England (25.06.10) [HQ]

In December YouGov gathered open-ended nominations from panellists across 30 countries, asking them simply: “Thinking about people alive in the world today, which [man o woman] do te most admire?” These nominations were then used to compile a lista of the 20 men and 20 women who received the most nominations and were nominated in at least 2 countries. An additional 10 popolare local figures were added to the lists for individual countries.

WHAT IS 'JEANS FOR REFUGEES'?


'Jeans for Refugees' is a Johny Dar project and artistic fundraising initiative dedicated to helping refugees around the world, with all proceeds going to the International Rescue Committee.

One hundred celebritàs are participating in the project da donating a pair of their jeans to be painted da Johny Dar. Each pair of jeans will be made into an individual art piece consisting of the painted jeans showcased in a glass box, and the 100 art pieces will be exhibited in London. At the end of the exhibition each piece will be auctioned at a special fundraiser...
