Gajeel o Natsu, who is STRONGER???

Natsu of course, he even proved. His blazing flames can totally melt Gajeel's Iron

I am going to have to say... even, while te stated that the creator detto that Gajeel is a better combatant, he doesn't have the same drive as Natsu to win. Natsu always uses the power of nakama, and i believe that he has done this since the death of Lisana, i also say this for story plot, if te noticed that Natsu was getting a good distance on everyone for a while and then plateaued. and a side note, it seems like Gajeel might be getting that power of nakama soon with the way him and Leve are. and my last point natsu is più based on straight inoltrare, avanti power and high defence, Gajeel is based on straigt inoltrare, avanti defence and high power. But im a Gajeel fan my self so Gajeel wins lol!

Well my main argument is to do with their Lightning Flame and Iron Shadow dragon modes, people have argued that as Natsu has Laxus's lightning that makes him stronger but seeing how the shadows that Gajeel absorbed were from the future Rouge whom Natsu only beat using flames from Atlas Flame means that future Rouge's shadows are on the same level if not più so, also Natsu obtained his Lightning Flame mode through Laxus willingly giving Natsu detto Lightning whereas Gajeel obtained future Rouge's shadows whilst being slowly killed da them making his obtaining of this mode a greater feat than how Natsu obtained his.
A few other small pointers are that when it comes to physical strength Gajeel greatly exceeds Natsu, we have seen Gajeel stop giant swords, (Panterlillys Buster Ma'am) be unaffected da curse tornadoes (from the demon Torafuza) and have the strength to sollevamento, uplift and control a massive sword coming from his own two hands (Iron Dragon God Sword). When it comes to durability it is più mixed, Natsu has rarely been seen to fall from a fight and has shown great endurance and stamina whereas Gajeel has been able to keep fighting in unnatural conditions such as in cursed water which slowly drains ones power and life. This mixed argument is the same for the power that is produced from the two's magic. Gajeel is also a quick learner which has been stated many times during the manga and anime, this is proven through events like him being able to grab hold of Rouge during his shadow form and finding quick solutions to finish fights even though they may sometimes be brutal (His victory over chase) but Natsu has shown to be equally smart when it comes to fighting (We can all agree though that outside of a fight they can both be equally stupid).
The main problem with the ongoing argument between the two dragon slayers is that Natsu is focused on far più than Gajeel so we do not have enough evidence to have a completely accurate understanding between the two, but from what we do have, i will confidently say that i believe Gajeel to be the stronger of the two.
One last thing is that Gajeel rarely wins fights through the bloody power of bloody emotions and he also rarely gains power willingly from others

In Phantom Lord arc Natsu's and Gajeel's power was similar but now Natsu is stronger.

Hmm..In some way I think it depends on the dato situation they're in but I feel Natsu-kun is stronger in terms of a few ways,so basically it varies but I think it depends on the situation to decide which of them is stronger because they're both good at different things and high in one way over the other.

I think Natsu because he has mastered his powers più than gajeel has.

I'm not telling than gajeel is weak o anything but he will never defeat the Salamander..

Who is the stronger of the two?, Personally i think they are at par, yes natsu has più feats but thats because we see più of natsu plus the only time they ever fought, it was even until Nakama power came into play. I think the are of equal strength, as evidenced that Gajeel was able to keep up with natsu when they were fighting sting and rogue. But if he came down to a fight between the two, Natsu wins not da being più powerful o skilled but da sheer stubbornness, he's has più stamina and almost as much durability as gajeel (i feel gajeel is più durable thinks to his iron dragon skin move), anyways, a proof i have is when they fought dorom anima, they had been severely exhausted but natsu was the one who stood up, wrenched magic power from his reserves to lift dorom anima, while the others still stood and attacked in the end, natsu showed much più stamina and stubbornness than them. So my opinion equal strength but in a fight natsu wins da sheer outlasting Gajeel.

for my opinion i say natsu why because natsu defeted sting and rogue at the same time without even using flame thunder dragon slayes magic while sting and rogue went all out withought holding back so gajeel is no match o maybe if natsu and gajeel fight now with their new powers i thing it might be a draw they might be exacly the same level so this is my opinion hope u agree

It's obviously Natsu because, he beat Gajeel in the Phantom Lord arc. Yes he did get quite beaten up in the start but that time he just had half of his Magical power left and Gajeel had full power, and they still tied over there but when they both have full magical power in their bodies then Natsu will defiantly win.

yes and no. natsu dragneel is stronger right now but he has use his secondo origin while even gajeel is a little behind he has not use his secondo origin so it all depends.

It's the lightning flame dragon vs the iron shadow dragon it's a pretty fair fight though natsu is much stronger power wise

As far as l'm concerned Natsu has three powers, thus;
1. Lightning.
2. fuoco / Flame.
3. God Slayer magic.
Whereas Gajeel has two powers, thus;
1. Iron.
2. Shadow.
considering the mentioned points mentioned above, Natsu is stronger than Gajeel.

Also when Natsu fought Gajeel when Gajeel was still bad, Natsu defeated Gajeel, so basically when Natsu and Gajeel uses their original power o mode (fire vs iron) Gajeel does'nt stand a chance.

Also considering that the lightning power generated da Natsu is From Lexus (Who is highly ranked in Fairy Tail guild) who l believe is way stonger than Rogue, basically Lexus' lighting magic is stronger than Rogue's shadow magic.

Natsu is obviously stronger than Gajeel, though Gajeel might not be very far from Natsu's power.

If te really think about it, Natsu is stronger. Gajeel may have Iron Shadow Dragon, but Natsu has his fuoco Lightning Dragon. Plus, right now, Natsu has più to fight for. Gajeel only beat Rouge da a hair. Plus, he was ticked off... so that doesn't score many points. Natsu took down both Rogue, and Sting at the same time... with one attack! He was able to power through their merciless beating that occurred just before then with sheer will power. There is also the fact that Natsu nearly took out the whole SaberTooth guild on his own just to defend a passing acquaintance. Not only that, but Natsu had surpassed Gajeel on the very first time they were able to go all out in a fight. Before that - and every other mission he has ever gone on - Natsu caused mass destruction just da fighting 1 to 2 enemies! Before Gajeel joined Fairy Tail, not even he purposely did that much damage to a single area. Don't forget the fact that Natsu is E.N.D. which means that he is a demon destined to put a stop to his brother Zeref's wicked demons and schemes... Therefore, Natsu is CLEARLY the stronger one!

I would have to say Natsu is stronger, maybe not physically stronger than Gajeel, but he is a stronger dragonslayer. But Natsu's power kind of defies logic, he can beat way OP characters just da being enraged, he draws his true power from somewhere that Gajeel could never understand, unless he was like Vegeta. In which case, if Levy got hurt in front of him he might momentarily surpass Natsu.
