Is it really wrong to have picks asking people to read your articolo o to answer your question?

Ever since I joined fanpop a few months fa I have heard about rules of some sort and I was wondering how people know what is taboo and what isn't. Which goes along with my domanda because I have read articoli supporting these kinds of picks, but I recently have a read an articolo that states it is against "the rules". I would really like to get clarification on this matter and if possible the actual lista of taboo things. Thanks in advance for help and sorry this is so long.
