Some trofei are still dato out. I received two new article-writing trofei recently, and I believe that the trofei for fanning people, number of years of membership etc are still being handed out (but I haven't gotten any recently myself). I'm not sure about the random ones. I think the holiday ones have been stopped.
From what I understand, new trofei are no longer being added to the site, but the ones that had already been made are still intact and can be earned as per usual.
For example, te can still earn trofei for adding new friends, submitting articles, and being a member of fanpop for a certain amount of time, but holiday trofei are no longer dato out to those who log in on special days of the year.

I thought the articolo trofei were a recente addition. I received my 10-articles berretto, tappo about a mese ago, even though I'd written 10 articoli over a anno previously.
Yeah, I think they came much later than the others. They might have been around for a anno o so? I'm not sure who made them (if it was the same artist who made the old caps) but I don't think any più have been added to the site since.
