Fanpop's Got Talent 2014 Quarter Finals

Hello fanpoppers,
Today I Iti Shree the official holder of Fanpop's Got Talent is going to announce winners of each categories.
First of all I wanna thank s\all the participants of entering in this annual contest and mostrare so much of enthusiasm. I wanna thank volunteers for promoting this event on such a large scale, I wanna thank judges for being much responsible and dedicated towards their duties.

At last I wanna thank fanpop Four for promoting us and helping us so much, without them this couldn't have been possible.

Now I may start congratulating and wishing best of luck for the future to those who made it to the quarter finals.

I am really prous that this Haiku won and probably it's amazing, not only judges admired this but fan too complemented it. There were two amazing Haiku entries this anno and she won it.

We all know that there was only one entry in this category though many did registered but they didn't inviato their work, I won't criticize them because I know we all got our lives but I hope when people register they'll try to do what they said. winning isn't what matters, it's participating and giving our best what really does matter. Anyway florajames really did an incredible job.And of course I will congrats her.

We saw amazing writers in FGT 2014

Now there's a really big surprise for one of the contestants which were mentioned da the three judges along with other two.

The three fics which were mentioned da judges were

Princess-Flora - Blown Away
HaleyDewit - The Host

These three are really amazing and I wanna congrat them too.
And one entry is taken into for quarter finals that entry is Princess-Flora's Blown Away.I thought that we must give that fic a chance and I wanna tell te I did read all the three fics.

snsdlover4ever I still can't believe that I won! I want to wish my gratitude to nmdis and zanhar1 for choosing mine, and zikkiforever for still supporting my entry even if we were rivals. And of course, all the fans who complimented mine! I literally had no intention to win my section; I only did it for fun, and this makes it all worth while!

blackpanther666 Congrats to the other two who made it with me and congrats to Princess-Flora, too. I'm honestly very surprised that silverexorcist's didn't make it to the quarterfinals, because it was a really good read. I liked reading it more than I liked how my fan-fiction ended up - I ran out of time on it, otherwise it would have been much, much longer and the fights would have also been far longer. So, yeah, awesome stuff everyone!

ana_tai_tadase Congratulation to everyone in every category. This year's FGT was really exciting and great! I loved being part of it. Thanks to everyone that made it happen, yeah, talking about you, dear Iti! You brought all of these people together and made them enjoy it and meet new people with great talents. It was definitely a great talent show. Congrats again to everyone!! As for the fan fiction winners, a massive congrats! You write beautifully yet that doesn't mean the rest didn't! You all did amazing, thanks to the other contestants too.

zanhar1 Well, since we're playing the 'rude' game; if you're so much better than us, why didn't you make it? And where is your publised novel? A simple congrats would suffice. Blackpanther, whiteflame, and Princess-Flora are amazing authors and earned their places in the quarter finals. Suck it up. I'm a sore loser too, I get it, losing sucks--I've entered an art contest once and was the only person who didn't get any votes--but does that give me a right to go around saying that their art sucks? No it doesn't.

HaleyDewit I know this is rich, coming from me, but I'm just going to come out and say it. JamesMsgirl, get your head out of your ass. I've said some pretty nasty things shortly after the results came out, and I've apologized for it. Then I watched my newest Delena vid a few times, and now I'm back to my normal self. And as my normal self I can see the difference between a good story and a bad one, and let me tell you, yours falls under the second category. It reads like a daydream written on paper, there's no punctuation whatsoever, it's mary-sue, it's cheesy, need I keep going? So, I'm going to tell you the exact same thing someone should have told Stephenie Meyer when she started writing Twilight. You're not a good writer. You're not even a decent one. Go ahead, everyone, tell me I'm wrong.

zanhar1 @HaleyDewit Thank you! At least you took a step back an had the courage and respect to apologize. And trust me, people appreciate that very much. @James Okay I read your fic. I'm not one to insult others' writings. And I'm not going to do so. However I will say self-inserts in general just don't take well with readers. And I personally don't shoot for them myself. I can't say 'omg don't write them' because I have. But in my personal opinion they are more for personal enjoyment not contest entries. And on top of that 1D isn't exactly popular with the fanpop crowd either.

nmdis Guy guys please calm down, don't insult each other personally I loved everyone's entry and I do appreciate all of them, to those who didn't made it to the finals it doesn't means you're a bad writer it's just the situation, and competitors. @HayleyDewit: Sis you can't say that Zannie is an amazing writer I have read her many fics and I wasn't one to send her to the finals but the fans response and judges response were so please be calm, I know you are an amazing fic writer too.

I'm a writer and I think stuff like that is an insult to all writers out there - THAT entry was not 'writing' - that was dysfunctional words on paper. I fully support what HaleyDewit said there.

blackpanther666 @Zanhar. Seriously, I admire how you can't insult her writing at all. I read it and was like 'wow, I can't read this...' I didn't say anything about it then, but now that she's acting like a toddler, that changed. People who have tantrums when things don't go their way are in no boat to be complaining about anything. When she can learn to use English better, then maybe people will be more interested in reading the stuff she writes.

I mean as someone who really wants to be an author (professionally) crap like what James said hurts. Especially if you're a new or already confidence-lacking author. Stuff like that can make a person not want to write again. So honestly, it's fair game. A person can't criticize someone else's (a whole group's) work and not expect retaliation. On another note, you don't have to worry about my comment. The attack wasn't a personal one. I was just letting James know that self-inserts really just don't seem to work in contests. I know mine wouldn't. On a third note I am sorry that there's a bit of drama now. It's like can't we all just be happy for each other. I mean come on, there are no awards for this, the contest was just supposed to be for fun. I personally don't care for winning, I just enjoy writing and getting feedback. And I think that's what this contest is about. Losing sucks, I know, but come on...it's just fanpop, it's not like you can put 'I won a fanpop contest' on your job resume lol. Just enjoy reading and writing the fics. @blackpanther Thanks. I try not to go for personal attacks. I know she talked crap about my writing but I don't want to be the kind of person who makes a person want to quit doing something they enjoy. I prefer constructive criticism. I don't blame you guys for getting mad though, I mean what goes around comes around. I used to throw fits like that when I lost stuff, it didn't get me anywhere.

IngridPresley A huge congratulations for the winners and for whom has got into the quater finals!!! I'm very sad that I didn't make it... I'm actually not lucky when it comes to competitions; the closest I got to win something was when I got a great PSAT score, lol! Anyways, if I do participate next year, I'll continue to try my best... Maybe I need to draw something more realistic?? Well, thanks for those who liked my job and congrats for the amazing job of the contestants!!

FGT 2014 is finally over!

Dear fanpopper,

I am really glad that we completed FGT 2014 so nicely, there came some problems in finishing this but we crossed the hurdles together and honestly I couldn’t have done this without your helps. We saw some amazing and breathe taking entries in this FGT but only 4 entries made it to the Grande Finale.
Still te all are winners as te guys are Ribelle - The Brave enough to participate and mostra your talent to the world.

Some facts about Fanpop’s Got Talent
2014

1.This FGT was biggest FGT of all. This anno 40+ fan registered and 30+ entries were inviato which is a big thing.

A sincere apology...

I apologize for my behavior from the last couple days. I don’t do well with losing, not in this category, anyway, but the way I’ve handled it was out of line.
The only reason I acted like a first class cagna was to prevent myself from bursting into tears. I know it shouldn’t be such a big deal, but it is to me. That’s what I do, when I’m upset. I become this spoiled brat, who I don’t even like myself, when all I want to do is cry.
It’s not an excuse, I know that. I just wanted to explain myself.
