I got a lotta rage tonight. You've been warned.

My patience is wearing veeery thin, FTWD. This time-jumping story-telling format, or lack thereof, just seems like it's taking twice as long to get nowhere. This is taking the dragging-it-out thing to extremes, even for the TWD-verse.

I find it hard to believe Madison wouldn't just blow up the parking lot with all the Lost Boys in it. Just letting them lurk? Inviting the weenies in not once, but multiple times? Madison Clark is supposed to be a cold hard bitch. I am not a fan of this Rick Grimes-like flip-flopping.

Strand wanting to ditch Team Madison? I feel a little betrayed by that. Keeping a secret stash, I understand, but inviting some rando he barely knows instead of the Clarks is bullshit.

And Naomi is Laura. Wow. What a surprise. This is clearly a twist worthy of M. Night. And she's dead too? I hope she stays that way. In the yellow-filtered past.

And Althea. Oh, boy. Let's talk about Althea. And how she not only badgered everyone for their stories since the minute they met, but filmed Nick getting stabbed in the head. I hope Alicia makes her eat all her stupid tapes, then shoves the camera up her bony... *drags self away*

This episode was boring. Plain fucking boring. Nothing happened. We didn't learn ANYTHING more than we did last week. The story is supposed to go forward, not still. I hope they don't drag whatever happened at the stadium longer, because I'm gonna lose my mind!!

Get an 'ok' rating because there was Nick in it and that's what I need right now. Although SUPER confused about why Strand, Alicia and Luciana weren't as concerned about where to bury Nick as Morgan was... grief maybe...? A function of us still not knowing what shit went down with them that means they don't give a shit anymore...? Bad writing...?

I liked most of the stuff from The Yellow Past (following our original peeps around), but the Dark Times was all dumb. I enjoyed the water park stuff a lot. I lol'd super hard when Naomi went down the slide with a zombie lololol.

Althea is clearly the season 4 villain. I fucking hate her. The Althea Tapes thing is sooooooooooo fucking annoying. She's just done the whole 'stories are currency' thing every episode now, and then whined about the stories she got. And the video confessional thing sucks. That convention gets really old, really fast. It is also lazy writing. FTWD is going full TWD. Never go full TWD.

But agreed with Dasm: it makes no sense that Madison just accepts those losers sitting in her parking lot like that. She has a massive military advantage over them. If the season 3 writers were still on board, she'd have blown them away when they first showed up (and also, they never would have shown up at all). This Vultures storyline is bizarre and dumb and boring.

In one of the post-Nick-Death interviews the showrunners said that the first 8 episodes were messing with time. At first I thought that was great because that meant the potential for a lot more Nick before he leaves my life forever, but now it is just getting on my nerves. Y'all are both right: nothing really happened in this episode across 2 dang timelines. This one felt distinctly like all those middle episodes of TWD where nothing happens but they gotta stretch things out before a mid-season finale. FTWD has NEVER felt like that ever. They've always used their episodes so well. THEY ARE GOING FULL TWD. Ugh.

^The Nick/Morgan thing, I noticed too. And it annoyed me a lot. I call that bad writing.
