Flashpoint VS Standoff: is it alike?

I'm a big fan of the mostra Standoff. I Amore the crisis-negotiation part. I was wondering if Flashpoint and Standoff are anything alike? Have any of te watched both shows? If so, could te tell be the differences/similarities?
