I think Hans is really cute but I find myself slapping myself a lot because he's a horrible person.

Fantastic villain for the main reason that you didn't at all see it coming. Then when you rewatch it knowing he's the villain, you see how cunning and despicable he really is.

I agree with FlightofFantasy! You couldn't really see it coming. He was so classy and royal at first but deep inside he was selfish, manipulative and deceitful. So it really puts some kind of a plot twist into it.

I agree with everybody else here! The idea of a prince acting nice but secretly evil was definitely a big twist-especially for Disney! I mean, I see a few evil princes in other animated movies (like Charming from Shrek) but seeing a cunning evil prince in a Disney film is definitely big for me!

He is the best villain! He looks kind, gentle, handsome and whatever nice but inside, it's a total plot twist!!
From most point of view, Hans can't be evil for the reasons of handsome and whatever nice (haha.) but from some point of view, this is a major plot twist!

For me the Duke is really cruel!I hate him!

if you watch it once, you won't see a HUGE hint he gives you. watch it again, and you see that in "Love is an Open Door" he says "i've been searching my whole life to find my own place" while gesturing to arendelle, showing his plan while disguising it as just an expression in a love song. NOT!!!

Though I was very disappointed to know that his villainy isn't cool at all... He needs to be fixer-upper! XD

Hans is a horrible person.

The Duke was laughable to me. Hans was more manipulative and intimidating. I don't like him as a character, but he makes a good villain. The best villain is the one that no one knows is a villain.
