Chapter 22 : Filling Her Shoes
Rosemary had disappeared into the wine cellar, pouring herself a glass and swishing the remainder of it at the bottom.
"How could she have came back?!" She tossed the glass at the cold stone walls, watching the wine drip down the rocks. "Surely I had ridden her from my life!" She crushed the glass into a fine power with her shoes.
"I'll deal with her later."
She felt so Lost in her own skin, she didn't look anything like she did before. She barely recognized herself. The white toga, abito flowed around her body, she gave a twirl and watched it swirl around her feet, giggling the whole way. carlotta, charlotte pushed back her hair and clipped it up in her fiore pin, placing her contacts in her eyes and blinking rapidly. Her dress was pure white and clung to her body. carlotta, charlotte then realized that her transmutation cerchio and Ourousbourous tattoo stuck out against her pale skin. She covered them with a pearl choker and white glove.
"This seems too perfect...." She detto aloud to herself.
"How can her life be so carefree?"
carlotta, charlotte shook of the vexing domanda and hurried down the stairs to greet the town.
"This is the place huh?" Edward asked as he exited the car that brought him and his group from the train station. Cars were parked up and down the street, preventing any sort of way to exit.
"What's going on?" Winry asked as she fumbled out the car door, suitcase in hand.
"Welcoming home party." Offered Edward as he lead everybody inside.
It was difficult to even reach the check in desk, Edward swatting people away from his walking path.
"Hey! Miss!" Edward threw a hundred dollar bill on the counter as he elbowed a man out of the way.
Mason was terminally depressed, finding nothing to cheer him up, he gazed around the large area, his eyes settling on a young girl with light blue eyes, and a white dress adorning her. She looked eerily familiar, though he couldn't place her.
"Hey!" Edward waved his suitcase in the air, the only way to see him through the sea of taller people.
"Rooms on the first floor, let's move!"
They had trouble getting to the stairs, but once they met them, they were perfectly clear.
"Here guys." Edward pointed to a set of rooms, throwing his stuff into one.
Charlotte had decided to return to her room, she needed to change into a più festive dress before the meal began, when she hit the superiore, in alto of the stairs, she froze. There, right successivo to her room, were her old friends. She tried her best to ignore them, but she felt eyes on her. "Evangeline" turned to find Mason staring her down with wonder dancing in his eyes.
"Hi." She waved lightly and tried to hurry into her room without looking suspicious.
"Mason! Don't te know who that is?!" Winry exclaimed.
"No.....? I saw her earlier......." Winry practically leapt out of her skin.
"That was Evangeline!"
"WHAT?"

which caused so much sacrifice and misery unknown.
Deceptively though, the stone did appeal
and made foolish men think its happiness real.
O wise philosopher te must grieve no more
if te wish to revive the mirth of before.
te must face your past, for te cannot atone
for the damage te wrought with the wretched red stone.
Where is the land? That land from the past,
which many before te sought and amassed?
Take heed of their folly, and don't be deceived
da the trap which left many despaired and bereaved.
Though for happiness, power and ease they did strive,
instead they found death and now none are alive.
Consider these perished; this warning adhere.
Will te continue to seek out this stone you held dear?
te who beheld it’s baneful hue red
when the blood of your own arm and own leg was shed?
Stone of philosophers, ruby red stone.
When will te cease and leave mankind alone?
