The sign read "emerging technologies."

Every student had a keyboard. The student Sora Keiichi, hit the keys a fast as he could--120 words per 30 seconds. All the other students stared in disbelief.

"This is no problem for me." Sora told the computer teacher, who was passed out

Soon the bell rang, and Sora took the 74 pages he typed and put them in his backpack.

He moved torward, but noticed a door that said "keep out." Following his questioning of what was behind the door, he turned the knob, revealing a long flight of stairs. He decided he would check what was down there after school.

Class was long, but he finished and litterally flew down the stairs of the secret room.

At the bottom he discovered a lab-like room with a glowing green stage-like cylinder with a girl inside. The girl, with her eyes closed, had long turquoise hair reaching her ankles, she wore a skimpy school uniform that had, on the left side of her chest, a word that said "Vocaloid". On her left arm was a tatoo-like marking that said "01".

Sora reached out his hand to touch her, but his hand went through her. "A hologram!?" He quickly pulled his laptop out and hooked up to the stage she was on.

After a few minutes he pressed enter, and she began to light up. She opened her eyes and began to float up. The green cylinder dissolved and she began to, slowly, float down to the floor. Sora who had began to back against the nearest wall, watched this with a suprised look.

She looked at Sora and smiled and said "Hello, Master. I am Miku Hastune. The first Vocaloid." She then held out her hand.

Sora took hold of it learning she was no longer a hologram.
