Gay Rights Domanda

Please help me!!

I'm a bi female, but I can't stand hanging out with other women. I know I'm bi; I'm madly in Amore with my RL gf Ashley. But when gym class comes around; I only stick around the guys. I even feel embarrassed when Ashley kisses me in the hallway.
Why is that!!??
Someone please help me!!!

My first reaction is to ask what is your school like? Are other people tolerant? If not, I can understand why you'd be reluctant when Ashley kisses you. Are te generally not fond of PDA?

I asked my resident bi adviser her take on your question. She too prefers hanging out with guys, if only because there's less drama. I know that's quite a generalization, but that's been her situation.

Otherwise, her bi girlfriends are not nearly as dramatic; it's just that her former school is not very LGBT friendly. Hope this response helps somewhat!

Thanks. And yeah; my school is very open when it comes to people and their sexuality. You'll find that five out of seven kids on their first giorno there will admit they're gay; and they're accepted instantly. But it was just different with me. When I admitted it; people shunned me and I felt alone. Then I met Ashley and she asked me out. I feel più comfortable with her when we're alone; when we're not at school. :/

Sorry that people didn't accept te at first. Is it any better now? I guess I don't think it's odd that te feel più comfortable when te two are alone. I've known many couples, regardless of orientation, who prefer not to be affectionate in public.

Yeah, sexuality is confusing in that way. The gender and personalities of the people te want a friend relationship with and the people te want a romantic relationship with can conflict, overlap, blur together... that's why we have that stereotype that straight guys and girls will have Friends entirely of their own sex, but will still only data the opposite sex. It's not as set in stone for a bisexual, but the fact that so many people have the majority of their Friends the opposite sex that their partner is proves that feeling that way is not a big deal. Wanting to hang with the guys doesn't undermine your sexuality o your relationship with Ashley.

As for being embarrassed about baciare in public, I think you're just being shy. XD

If you're new to the whole BI concept, then this is totally normal. Well, at least it is for some people. I'm used to it and it took me no time to adjust. For me it was the opposite: my girlfriend wasn't adjusted to it at first. If te feel this way, it may be because you're new to it o te haven't told someone that te are. A really important someone.
