How do te make Italics, Bold, and Underlined?

I see that sometimes and I don't understand how te do it. :P

'E' will do nothing, but when te replace 'e' with the appropriate letter, te will get the effect.
'b' = bold
'i' = italics
'u' = underline

So da replacing 'e' with any one of those letters te will end up with either bold, italics o underline.

I hope that wasn't too confusing. Oh, and the codes don't work in commenti to answers. e.g. [i]italics[/i] just leaves the code there.
