Harry Potter vs Twilight Risposte

Yes. I'm sorry, but (for the most part) J.K. couldn't pair couples to save her life! I mean, what's with the whole Ron and Hermione thing? They're always fighting and have different opinions on just about everything! And then there's Harry and Cho, which I thought was kind of pointless since she spent so much time explaining Harry's crush on her, but when they finally go out, she turns out to be over-sensitive! And just like that they're done. And don't get me started on Harry and Ginny. I always thought of the Weasley's as Harry's "family", so for Harry to go out with Ginny is like him going out with his sister (that's how I see it anyway)! What does he like about her anyway? Not that Ginny isn't a cool character o anything, but it just seemed like Harry was interested in her because he got jealous when he saw her baciare Dean. And what's with Lupin and Tonks? That was just all of a sudden, I think. I don't know, I just didn't like alot of the couples in HP. I thought for sure Harry and Hermione were going to get together, but oh well.

I think JK wrote the relationships perfectly. They developed over time, and didn't just get shoved in your face, which made it so much più enjoyable. The whole thing about Harry and Ginny over Harry/Hermione is the fact that Harry loves Hermione as a friend, but doesn't get what he needs from her romantically. Ginny makes him happy, makes him laugh, and he is attracted to her. Althugh the Weasley's are like his family, he was never that close to Ginny, and therefore, never thought of her like a sister. As for Ron/Hermione, they are the PERFECT balance for each other! They both Amore bickering, as some people do, and Harry doesn't, and they are both attentive to each other, when Harry rarely cares about their problems. Ron and Hermione compliment each other, together, they make one whole. That's perfection.

I have to agree with the harry/hermione thing. I know it's cliched, but I always waited for it. They just along so well, I assumed...Or at least spice up one of the libri with a forbidden romance *cough* Dramione *cough cough* I don't mind Harry/Ginny, but other than that *shrugs*

Interesting question!

I thought the romance aspect of the novel actually worked out quite well, despite the few random couples; I would have liked, however, to see Harry and Luna form some kind of relationship, merely to see how it worked out. And Dramione would have been quite clichéd, what with the bad, mysterious bully going out with the smart, goody-two-shoes girl ... :D But I never get bored of Fanfiction!

Other than that, I thought the story was lovely. It was very neatly tied up in the end, and the deaths were of course a great tragedy, but without them, the story wouldn't be the same. Sure, a few characters annoy me (who doesn't think Umbridge is an arrogant hag who deserves to die?) but you've got to have those kinds of characters in order to make a challenge for the protagonist, and stuff like that. :)

No, not really. Sure, I wasn't happy that certain things happened, but they all added to the whole magic picture. How boring would life be without problems and villans? JK wrote it perfectly.

Just really the fact that the epilogue was vague. I didn't find out nearly all that I wanted too...

& It annoys me to no end that Harry wouldn't just OPEN the package Sirius gave to him, if he did, Sirius wouldn't have died *sighs*. I bet it broke Sirius's cuore when Harry never tried to contact him through the mirror...
