zanhar1 Harry and Ginny kissed in book 6 if I'm not mistaken. This person may be referring to Ron and Hermione though, I don't think they kissed until book 7.

alexisn10 I don't see how this makes Harry Potter any better than Twilight. Twilight's romance for starters and Bella and Edward met and started dating at seventeen (or 100 and something for Edward). Ron and Hermione were kids and there weren't really any signs of affection until book 4 (when Ron was jealous of Hermione and Krum's fling). Like Edward and Bella, they didn't start dating until 17 (well eighteen but you get my point). Also, the romance in HP is a subplot. It's an adventure novel so I doubt there would be a lot of kissing anyway.
