There's just a couple of problems with those statements. First, women carry wands too, not just men. And second, not just male vampires sparkle.

What does their sexual preference have to do with this? Why is it just the men? There are female wizards/vampires too.

And I'm pretty sure that male vampires (as well as female vampires, cos' you know ... they sparkle too) don't sparkle out of choice. I don't think that Edward particularly enjoys the fact that he can't go outside without looking like a disco ball.

For one thing the 'wooded sticks' are wands. And whilst hand magic is possible in the HP, what fun would that be. Whereas with the sparkles, I don't see why they are necessary. Vampires aren't supposed to sparkle, they're supposed to be startling creatures of the night. Leave the glittering to fairies.

However, I don't much care for the wording of this question. I hate how everything is 'gay'. Sparkling and 'playing with sticks' isn't particularly gay. Men can use or do feminine things without being homosexual.
