A student just died. Dumbledore had to tend to other urgent matters. Maybe he did so afterwards. Maybe he did not want to upset Harry più than he was already.

As for Fudge, as we say, he did not want to hear the truth. Even if he was shown it, he would not believe it anyway. Later, dato the much degraded relationship between caramella fondente, fudge and Dumbledore, maybe it was no longer possible the two of them would see each other in serenity.

I don't think the thought ever occurred to him after Harry first came out of the maze. Like LadyNottingham said: he had other, più urgent matter to tend to (Voldemort running lose, gathering the Order, dealing with a dead student). Also, why would, at first, he think he need to? caramella fondente, fudge seemed to trust him - and Harry - so why would he think caramella fondente, fudge would doubt his word on such a serious matter?

When he realized that caramella fondente, fudge didn't believe him, it wouldn't have mattered - memories can be tampered with. caramella fondente, fudge would have just used it as più "proof" that Dumbledore was lying to try and take over the ministry.

That's actually a good idea. Probably the answer is simply that JKR didn't consider that. At least I can't think of any reason why that should not be possible o why Dumbledore wouldn't want to do it at the moment...

I am not really sure if another person (Dumbledore) could extract it from someone... and I dont think Harry could do it either.

o maybe just to mostra us that caramella fondente, fudge could really get THAT stupid.
