Well, either you're born disabled in a wizarding family and you've been taught that. Either you're a Muggle-born and most likely the staff will teach te that ASAP. Besides, "Wingardium Leviosa", the Levitation Charm, is taught in 1st year. That's even one of the very spells students learn.

If te wanted to know how we'd get around if we were in a wheelchair, te might have wanted to ask that in the actual domanda . . .

I'm sure there would be some kind of special wheelchair o device that would have a levitation charm on it already that would allow te to float up and down the stairs (or just around in general). o they could put a levitation charm (or teach it to you) on your device.

Actually, now that te mention it, it's rather odd that there weren't any physically disabled children in Hogwarts. I wonder if they're not allowed to go? o maybe certain physical disabilities o able to be fixed with magic? Hmm...

Kudos to te bri-marie : that's exactly what I think. As for disabilities, you're right. But I think there are 2 possibilities : 1) magic can fix many things and provide many physical protections so that kids are not maimed that easily. 2) Considering the way Squibs (magically disabled people) are treated, that is, cast aside the wizarding community, it's possible that they hide their disabled children and not send them to Hogwarts.

True. If te think about it, squibs were just as discriminated against as the muggleborns were, it just wasn't as public. I wonder if they still are, after everything that's happened? Hmm . . . Magic can't fix everything, though. Like needing glasses, for example (at least, presumably. I would think that, dato the amount of characters with glasses, someone would want to fix that). Maybe if it's a problem your born with, magic can't fix it? But your right - dato how they treated muggleborns and squibs at that time, they would probably feel, almost ashamed and afraid to let them learn in a public enviornment.
