Harry Potter Domanda

Where do objects go when they have been Vanished (i.e. da a Vanishing Spell)?

Anybody have any ideas? Do these objects cease to exist? At first I thought they just go somewhere else, like the opposite of a Summoning Charm, but that's called a Banishing Charm, not Vanishing...
It seems like the Room of Requirement could be a resting place for these items, but that would really only be for items originating inside of Hogwarts. What about the rest of the world?

I visited the Harry Potter Wiki (see below), but unfortunately they didn't have any information on this.

Hinata-Snow said:
"Into non-being, which is to say, everything." That's what Professer McGonagall detto in the Deathly Hallows, but I don't know what that means.

THANK YOU!!! I thought I remembered Leggere something about it somewhere, but I couldn't remember where! I'm rereading the series, but i'm only up to OOTP right now, so I haven't gotten there yet. Thanks again!!! :D

It's quoted in DH, Chapter 30, "The Sacking of Severus Snape".
