Harry Potter Domanda

In the movie the Goblet of Fire, when Harry's underwater he's wearing glasses. How is that possible?

I know that magic can possible be used to keep them in place, but wouldn't water get in the way? o is there a bubble around them to keep out the water? If so then why doesn't Harry use it for his face instead of just his glasses? Is he wearing his glasses in the book when he was doing the secondo task o is this another mistake made da the movie? I'm a little confused here as te can see.

Please note the way the sidepieces clamp into the side of Harry's face in the picture. There is absolutely NO way that those glasses will just fall off. Not while they hug his face so tightly

Ok lol, I understand why u asked that but tbh. I really did find it funny u asked that and not something like how does he do all the magic. If they can fake a bunch of magic with technology etc I'm sure they can tackle HP's glasses lol. Surely?

I always wear glasses when I'm swimming. They do not fall off. The real domanda is, why did he NEED his glasses in the water if the gillyweed altered him so that he could see in the water. In the book he took them off.

And let's not get into why a wizard should need glasses in the first place if they can improve their eyesight with a spell.

The answer is actually più simple than most would think: Harry is nearsighted. Without his glasses, he wouldn't be able to complete the task, as so much of it relies on vision.

Yes, but how does his glasses stay on and not float away? That's the domanda I'm wondering about.

The earpieces. Thy hooj over the outer ear and keep the glasses on his face, come hell o high water. Glasses are designed NOT to fall off

Now that u mention it, that's a good question. But i guess, after-all its in the harry potter world, where anything is possible because of magic. Maybe Hermione cast some spell like impervius o something. And in the movies, maybe they just added the effect of glasses o something, however daniel radcliffe really did go under-water, in a tank. But over-all im not sure....

Aaah, I guess that makes the most sense. I don't know, just watching the movie and I saw that and got confused. Thanks for answering!

When te think about it, they are much like goggles I guess. I mean so when he opens his eyes through the glasses he can see with out them he cant. So imagine if he didnt spy the evil water creatures, he would be helpless and probs die.
