Harry Potter Domanda

I'm confused about a dialogue in GoF...

In GoF [book] as Hagrid is walking Harry back to the castello after Krum gets attacked and Crouch disappears, Harry mentions Madame Maxime.
Hagrid then says "Don' yeh talk ter me abou' her! I've got her number now!"
I thought cell phones weren't invented in the time that this book took place (1990's). And plus, how could Hagrid have Maxime's number when cell phones and other electronics don't work around Hogwarts?

"I 've got somebody's number" is an expression which has several meanings.Amongst them it also means "I figured out your true intentions/your true nature". So,Hagrid told Harry not to talk about Madame Maxime because he finally understood what her true intentions were.

It's not supposed to be a reference to a cell phone number - it's just a phrase. He means that he knows what she's up to! Afterwards he notes that she's trying to get back into his "good books" da telling him about the third task.
