Harry Potter Domanda

Can ghosts touch o in any way sposta inanimate objects?

I know Peeves the Poltergaist can, but he's not the same as a ghost. And I remember that ghosts (of course) can not eat anything...But is there any canon o official implication whether o not they can touch inanimate objects o in anyway sposta them around?

No matter how much afraid of death te might be...why would te ever want choose to get stuck here forever if te literally couldn't do anything except float around and talk to people? SUre it might be fun for a while to spook the muggles, but...stilll, if te couldn't do anything but float around and talk...

Anyway....I really need to know if there's any canon o official confirmation as for the ghosts powers?

I read somewhere that Myrtle can splash water from the toilets she haunts. Doesn't this practically mean they can touch stuff if they want to? But I wonder then, why mostly Peeves is described doing so and not the ghosts any più than that one bit with Myrtle...

No, Nearly Headless Nick persuaded Peeves to crash the vanishing cabinet over Filch's office (CoS, pg 129).
