I always kind of thought of Mr and Mrs Weasley as adopted parents to Harry. Sirius was more of like a fun uncle and Dumbeldore a mentor. The Weasleys were the ones who treated him as a son.

I never liked Sirius, but he was most important to Harry. The Weasleys are very close second, Lupin was an... well, forget about that, Dumbledore was more like a very important mentor.

Dumbledore was the best father for Harry. Sirius was a father figure too, but he wanted to be a brother to Harry, as well as a father, so sometimes his judgement was impaired a little.

yes plus Mr.Weasley has fathering experience and is in the Order.

Dumbledore was like treating harry with respect.
He also fighted Voldemort when Harry was getting hurt really badly because Harry and Hermione and Ginny and Luna and Neville and Ron went to that place.Because Bellatrix Lestrange killed Sirius (Harry's godfather).It says she killed Sirius in the second chapter of the sixth book pages 19-38 spinner's end.That's what I have to say!

I think Sirius was more like a friend to him, not too serious and all that...Lupin was something like a mentor to Harry, especially in his third year. Dumbledore was like a guardian angel, who carried him through his life and Mr.Weasley was always there for Harry, always like a father figure...
