Lucifer Was: The Divine albero -- a review

My friend Thore's band link has been around since the lat 70's. Now there's a new album out: The Divine Tree. It is a strong album -- uncompromising riffs, mythic lyrics and part of an epic cycle of albums started decades ago.

Lucifer Was is a Nordic prog rock band strongly influenced da early seventies guitar, flute and vocal-oriented melodic progressive heavy rock.

The band's heavy chitarra based sound is characterized da the creative use of the flute and unusual instruments like the Mellotron. Imagine a mix of Black Sabbath and early East Of Eden, with a dash of Jethro Tull.

MY PERSONAL superiore, in alto FIVE ALBUMS EVER RELEASED

I am a heavy metal junkie but unlike most metalheads, who are kept entertained da the popolare thrash metal (i.e. Metallica) and Alt. metal (i.e. System of a Down) bands, I am much pickier than most. I enjoy heavy metal with melodic elements while still maintaining the heaviness and catchiness at the same time, and I’ve got to say, very few bands have managed to get it just right. But some bands have pulled it off and the very best albums of these bands have been brought here. So this is my superiore, in alto five metal albums of all time, enjoy!

As of now on the "iTunes superiore, in alto Rock 100" chart, "Failure" is #1 and "Human Race is #6.

I just think it is super cool that both of my preferito bands have released new songs on the same day! From what I have read, both bands are releasing albums and trying to start back up. It is AWESOME!
