Why do people keep saying they "HATE" Seychelles? ITS GETTING ON MY NERVES!!

I never really understood it either to be honest. Before I got into Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia I heard how she was a "Mary-Sue" and all so I at first believed it since I wasn't ever really into the fandom. When I actually did get into Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia though, I never saw any qualities of hers that made her seem like a mary-sue character and I got confused as to why she's hated. I found her rather likable like all the other Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia female characters (even Belarus) and so it never really made sense. It's apparently because of Gakuen Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia I believe that she's believed to be a mary-sue, but I'm not so sure because I don't know much of the GakuHeta universe in general.

I agree that it is rather sad that such a lovely female character is getting so much hate though when she hasn't really done anything that is "unlikable" in my opinion.

I don't get that either. Apparently it's from some game and they keep saying she gets shipped with everybody and she really isnt. If te ask me, I think she's really cute and doesn't deserve the hate she gets.

I never understood that either. Personally, Seychelles was my preferito female character since she first showed up in the anime. I was surprised and disappointed to see that so many people in the fandom act like they hate her guts.

A lot of people say it's that one game, and while that is definitely something that made a lot of people start hating Seychelles, I think the main reason why is because she is a female. It's a stupid reason to hate a character, but I see it happen with other female characters as well. For example; I've heard a lot of people call Lichtenstein a mary-sue. I think the main reason people hate on female characters is because 'they get in the way of yoai'. I'm a HUGE fan of yoai myself, but I don't care if a female happens to be a main character in a fanfiction.

Some things in this fandom just don't make any sense, and sometimes, that really peeves me. I'll still always Amore Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia though.

I believe it's because she originally had an interesting personality, but after Gakuen Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia became a dating sim game and made her the main character they started to hate her because she was paired with everyone in that game. But seriously though, what else do te expect from a dating sim game than the main character paired with everyone in the game.
From what else I've seen, people also don't like her because 'she gets in the way of their precious yaoi' o something like that.

It's probably because the Yaoi fan of Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia say that she's in the way of they're "precious yaoi", and trust me, it always happens to the other Hetalia Axis Powers - Incapacitalia female character's.
