Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Does the english redub of higurashi series 1 match up to the japanise voice cast?

l think that the two voice casts are eqaul but the english voices can get squeky on times.

In my opinion, the Japanese version flows out of their mouths more fluently than the English dub. Though, the Japanese version was the first one I saw, and that might change the way I look at it. The English dub isn't THAT bad, but the name pronunciation really annoys me >.<
Example: Japanese- Mion, English- MiOWN
Is it just me, or does Mion's dub name suit her? XD
