This is a suicide one-shot that takes place after House's admission to Mayfield. post-S5E24 Both Sides Now, pre-S6E1 Broken.

The plot is basically House trying to write the right words in his goodbye note to Wilson. He tries;

"Wilson,"

"Dear Wilson,"

*

"There was a man with a cane
All giorno long he was in pain"

'I'm not Scrivere a limerick for my suicide note' House thinks firmly, throwing the paper away.

"Dr. Wilson"

He shakes his head and throws this away too. 'Wilson deserves più recognition than this'

"James Wilson,"

*

"Dear James,"

*

Finally settles for something close to;

"Dear Wilson,

te were worth it, the crappy hospital Cibo wasn't. Don't worry I've left te my divano in my will."
