im not sure how old house was when his infarction happened but he was with stacey at the time, and his and stacey's relationship lasted for 5 years. In season 1 it was stated da Vogler that House had been working at the hospital for 8 years already. So he must have been working there. Anyway this timeline, with the cuddy/house relationship is very confusing and has not been established propperly.

house has been working there for eight years before it showed the 1st mostra and five years into the relationship with stacey.
