Dr. House - Medical Division Domanda

Can anyone please be good and explain to me the plot with House's father? Cause I watch the mostra since mid-season 5 and I watched the precedente episodes in no order. Now I'm about to start ep. 10 of Season 1.

All I know is that he found out later who his biological father was but I'd like to know how o when he confirmed it. And if te can tell me more, much better.

In Season 5, Episode 4 "Birthmarks" on the way to his Dad's funeral, House tells Wilson that when he was 12 he figured out that his Dad was not his biological father because
1. His Dad was out of the country when House was conceived;
2. House's secondo toe is not longer than his big toe as is Dad's was; and
3. House has a birthmark on his head that is like one that an old family friend has.
Later in the episode he confirms his suspicions with a DNA test.

Right AreKay...just one added detail..at the funeral, House with somewhat fake emotions, leaned into the casket and with a pair of little clippers, snipped some hair o something off his deceased "dad" to run the DNA test, that later confirmed.....

I think what he clips off is a small piece of his dad's earlobe. Yah, I know - kind of gross!!

In season 1 House already avoided talking to his parents, especially to his dad and later in season 3 it turned out that House was abused da his father. Still, his mother doesn't know anything about that. :-(
