How is Cuddy damage?

I would say she's damaged in that she's attracted to House, she has an enormous amount of guilt (Humpty Dumpty), she's a perfectionist in every sense of the word to a fault even, while she may boast the confidence of herself, we are at times dato glimses of how insecure she really is in herself and her appearance, she is an idealist and a perfectionist and the two cannot exist in the same realm and function well (You see the world as it is and how it could be - Humpty Dumpty), she is o at least was miserable even though she's accomplished so much (no più mr. nice guy), she had a chip on her shoulder in her youth which drove her to be the best.

I think it's clear that Cuddy is damaged but she takes her damagedness and channels it into accomplishments that don't always fulfill her in the ways she needs. I guess she is the antithesis of House in that regard, both are damaged but it's what they do with the damage is what separates them and attracts them to each other. IMHO.

I don't think she's really damaged in THIS WAY(phisically & mentally, like House) either.
Of course she has a lot of problems - she is a carrer woman who gave up her dream of being a doctor to run a big hospital as a administrator. She is not a teenager anymore, but most of her life she was single o in one stand relationship, although she a very beatiful, smart, strong woman.
She is very motherly, but can't have childern on her own.
And she finally found some safety & happiness (giving her cuore to Rachel, with Lukas da her side), the screenwriters without a doubt are going to take it away from her.
So she's also kind of damaged,don't te think?

she was damages because until Lucas she wasn't able to make any relationship and until season 5 she was single woman who focused on her career and gave up family, and one giorno realized "omg, I'm all da myself and that's not fun at all" so she desperately wanted to have a baby, and she failed at getting pregnant 3 times, so she decided to adopt, and then it's fallen trough again...

and I think she can be "damaged" physically too! she can't have a child on her own.
