*A/N: I'm so sorry this took so long for me to update. Hopefully I still have some people who are Leggere this fanfic. Anyways, as te might o might not be able to recall, the idea behind this fanfic was to basically give a little bit of background into House and Cuddy's college days together and tie that into the events in LTEC. This is the chapter in which I attempt to tie the college days that were described in precedente chapters to a present giorno scene in LTEC. This was a difficult chapter to write because it doesn't really focus on the dialogus but rather, the House and Cuddy's thoughts. Anyways, hope te enjoy and I will try to get the 4th and last chapter up soon.*
“Oh, shit, shit, shit. Please tell me what I think happened last night didn’t actually happen and was all part of a horrible dream,” detto a dismayed Cuddy as she got out of letto and started to put on a bathrobe.
“Geez, was I that bad?” asked House.
“No, te were great. So great that we are probably going to want to do this again,” detto Cuddy.
“I’m not seeing what the problem is,” detto House.
“We can’t do this again. I’m not ready for this type of a relationship,” Cuddy explained.
"I don’t understand. te were the one who led me into your bedroom last night. te were the one that wanted this,” detto House.
“I know. I was caught up in the moment and wasn’t thinking straight. I’m sorry. I hope we can still be friends,” detto Cuddy.
“Friends with benefits?” asked House hopefully.
“No,” replied Cuddy.
“Well, te can’t blame a guy for trying,” detto House feigning disappointment.
“I got to get ready for class. I suggest te do the same,” Cuddy chuckled. House sighed as he watched her leave the bedroom and head towards the bathroom.
*Flash inoltrare, avanti to present day*
“I think we’re supposed to baciare now,” detto a hopeful Cuddy. She couldn’t help herself. She got caught up in the moment again. For that one brief moment, she didn’t see House, the misanthropic jerk, but rather, she saw Greg, the fun-loving and carefree guy she knew back in college.
“We already did that,” detto House. The tone of his voice and the look in his eyes implied
that he was also reminiscing about their days in college as well. Then, unexpectedly, his placed his hand on her breast. “It seemed like the successivo logical step,” he explained. The hope that had filled Cuddy’s eyes moments earlier vanished as she came crashing back down to reality. This wasn’t the same guy she knew back in college.
“Really? I’m an idiot for being surprised,” Cuddy responded disappointed in herself più than anything for once again getting carried away. She turned around to walk away.
A few hours later, House was sitting da the side of his scrivania, reception contemplating his relationship with Cuddy as well as other romantic relationships he screwed up, particularly his relationship with Stacy. Looking back on his relationship with Stacy, he realized that the thing that drew him to Stacy was the fact that she reminded him of Cuddy. After all, they were both strong, independent, and intelligent women who could hold their own against him. He had been a fool. If only he knew then what he realized now, he could have spared himself years of heartache. It was then that House was interrupted from his thoughts da Taub entering his office.
“Where’s Cuddy?” Taub asked as if he was able to read House’s mind.

When does Amore become something we need, rather than something we want? Amore was seen as something special a long time ago. Now Amore is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. Amore is common currency when te are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older te get. Do we not care about the substance of what Amore was and not what it has been made into today da commercialisation from American Film and Televisione commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience Amore for real, can we commento and judge others who are in Love. Amore means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of Amore is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? Amore is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
Love.
Love.
