How/ why did te start shipping ichiruki?

So how and why did te start shipping this couple? I started from the very beginning towards the end of season one. When Rukia was taken back to the soul society it was obvious they liked each other. I'm actually re watching it now and notice all the little hints like "without Rukia here it's like the world has faded to white.." ( Ichigo paraphrased). So when was YOUR ichiruki realization?
How/ why did te start shipping ichiruki?

The moment I realized I couldnt get over the pairing. One without the other is like watching another anime. So, bleach is really about this two and I so loved them! <3
