Lead singer Dan is commonly spotted at concerts perching on monitors o screaming at the drumset. It is unclear if he is completely sane, but there can be no doubt that he was born to entertain. If you’re lucky, te may catch an appearance da Dan’s hip hop alter ego – The Human Beatbox.
Reynolds, seventh of nine children, was born on July 14, 1987 in Las Vegas to Ronald and Christene Reynolds. Both are natives of Nevada, and Dan is a 4th generation Nevadan.
While in college at BYU, Reynolds recruited Wayne Sermon to form the band. Bassist Ben McKee joined the band in Las Vegas and batterista Daniel Platzman, also a friend of Wayne's from Berklee College of Music, finalized the group.
The band relocated to Las Vegas, where they caught their first big break when Train's frontman fell sick just prior to the Bite of Las Vegas Festival 2010.
Imagine Draghi were called to fill in and performed to a crowd of più than 26,000 people.[3] Local accolades including "Best CD of 2011" (Las Vegas SEVEN Magazine), "Best Local Indie Band 2010" (Las Vegas Weekly), "Las Vegas' Newest Must See Live Act" (Las Vegas CityLife), Vegas Musica Summit Headliner 2010, and più sent the band on a positive trajectory. In November 2011 they signed with Interscope Records and began working with GRAMMY award winning producer Alex da Kid.
He has a reputation as a compulsive songwriter who writes hundreds of songs and regularly spends upwards of 4–6 hours a giorno practicing.
