The production presentation for KBS’s Friday-Saturday Televisione series ‘The Producers’ was held on May 11 at The Raum in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu in Seoul. Cast members Cha Tae-hyun, Gong Hyo-jin, Kim Soo-hyun, IU along with the production team attended the event.

IU, originally a singer who added recitazione to her career a few years ago, was cast as superiore, in alto singer ‘Cindy’ on ‘The Producers’. “Doing a Televisione drama provides catharsis to me,” detto IU.

Singer IU is currently gaining attention for the dress she wore to an awards ceremony last month.

After actress Kang So Ra was put into the spotlight for wearing an affordable dress from H&M to the 2014 MAMA ceremony on December 3, it has belatedly been revealed that IU’s dress worn to the 2014 Melon Musica Awards (MMA) costs even less!

From the same brand as Kang So Ra’s off-the-shoulder blue pizzo dress that costs 39,000 KRW (approximately $35 USD), IU’s floral-print chiffon dress costs 35,000 KRW (approximately $31 USD).

tvN’s “Hotel Del Luna” is off to an impressive start!

The new “fantasy horror romance” drama stars Yeo Jin Goo as an elite hotelier who ends up running a hotel for ghosts, while IU stars as the cursed owner of the spooky Hotel Del Luna.

According to Nielsen Korea, the July 13 premiere of the drama scored an average viewership rating of 7.3 percent and a peak of 8.7 percent nationwide.
