The organization named 116 nominees for outstanding coverage of gay issues in categories in film, television, documentary, music, theater, comic libri and journalism. The awards will be held in three different dates beggining March 13 in New York City.
Lady GaGa was nominated in the Musica artist category and is up against Adam Lambert, indie band Gossip and singer Brandi Carlie.
The organization’s President Jarrett Barrios detto the awards were designed to reward news coverage and entertainment programing that go beyond gay stereotypes.
