Les Miserables won 3 Oscars which isn't bad. (Best Supporting Actress, Best Makeup/Hairstyling and Best Sound Mixing) However, I am extremely disappointed that Hugh didn't win Best Actor and Les Miserables didn't win Best Picture. The performance of the cast literally moved me to floods of tears. I was bawling my eyes out ;) I was reeeeaaaallly happy for Anne, she totally deserved the Oscar for her portrayal of Fantine. postato più di un anno fa

I know we have no influence on the Oscar- winner decisions and that it wouldn't be the end of the world if the film didn't win any Academy Awards, but I'm going to sit on the sofa praying Les Mis will win as many Oscars as possible, especially for Best Actor (Hugh), Best Supporting Actress (Anne) and Best Picture. The competition is fierce and it's not going to be easy to win against nominees such as Django Unchained and Lincoln.
