Most likely they would lean towards BL because the way season 2 was for LP you could have never even guessed that they had strong feelings for each other in season 1;/

Definitely BL. Although I will say that if I had started watching in season 2, while I probably would have liked BL, LP also would have caught my attention. Because even though they didn't have many scenes, the few that they did have were amazing. So I think LP would still be in the back of my mind, and I would be curious about what could happen between them in the future. If that makes sense.
